Does Loadster offer Single Sign-On (SSO)?

Yes, Loadster supports Single Sign-On (SSO) through SAML2 (Security Assertion Markup Language 2.0), making it easier for your team to log in to Loadster securely and easily.

Single Sign-On with SAML2 allows members of your team to authenticate once with your organization’s identity provider (IdP), and then use that authentication to automatically log in to Loadster, which acts as the service provider (SP).

Benefits of SSO with SAML2

Single Sign-On with SAML2 is a standard authentication protocol that facilitates secure and seamless access to multiple applications by using one set of login credentials. Instead of keeping track of multiple usernames and passwords for various services, users on your team can log in once through your company’s identity provider, which could be a service like Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, or another SAML2 IdP.

Once authenticated, users gain instant access to Loadster without the need to log in separately.

This setup not only simplifies the login process for your team but is also considered more secure. By centralizing authentication through your identity provider, your company can enforce its own robust security measures, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) or password policies, all in one place. Additionally, managing user access becomes easier and more streamlined, especially as employees join or leave the company.

Enabling SSO with Loadster

Loadster’s SAML2 implementation requires a bit of manual setup on our end, so we are happy to offer it with custom, enterprise, and annual plans. Single Sign-On is not included with self-service Loadster Fuel or monthly plans at this time, but might be available to purchase separately as an add-on.

Please email help@loadster.app if you’re interested in setting up SAML2 SSO for your Loadster accounts.
